choice for those who need a line of credit. They have
over 150 different programs for loans and lines of
credit, and more than 4,000 employees nationwide to

|
| Our Review:
Quicken is one of our favorite consumer lenders. They’ve
got everything a good company should have: quality
service, great products, and a solid reputation to back
them up. Plus, their website is really simple to
navigate, and their forms are easy to fill out. |
|
| User Review:
I went to Quicken for a line of credit because I knew
that they could help me out. They were the only company
that gave me a chance for my home loan, so I knew that
they’d have what I needed. Sure enough, I got the money
that I needed, and quickly too. |

|
| Company Overview:
Bank of Internet got its start in 1999. They were one of
the first online-only lenders, and today are one of the
best. With over $1 billion in assets, their
strictly-online operation allows them to offer better
rates on line of credit and personal loans to their
consumers. They operate out of San Diego, but serve the
entire U.S. as a lending institution. |
|
| Our Review:
Bank of Internet is another one of our favorite lenders.
Their products are varied and serve every need that you
could have, and they have so much to offer for everyone.
Plus, their lower rates are a nice bonus. If you want a
great online lender, this is one to consider. |
|
| User Review:
Bank of Internet is a really awesome concept. I was
having trouble getting a line of credit to fix up my
home, and they really helped me to get what I needed
without the hassle of having to worry about going from
one bank to another. I spent about five minutes filling
out their application, and had a decision in minutes. |

| Company Overview:
Abacus Credit has been in business since 1998. They
offer lending solutions and financing options to
consumers regardless of credit history. They serve over
50,000 customers annually, and close all of their
transactions within 30 days. They are an e-mail only
company, because they like to keep things in writing at
all times. |
|
| Our Review:
Abacus Credit is a really good choice if you need a line
of credit. The best part about this lender is that their
approval process doesn’t rule out those with less than
perfect credit. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got bad
credit or good, because this company gives everyone a
chance. Their customer service is top rate, and their
website is very simple to use. |
|
| User Review:
Abacus Credit helped me get the line of credit that I
needed. I wanted to have it just for emergencies, but
since my credit wasn’t great, a lot of people wouldn’t
give me a chance. Abacus Credit did, though, and I’m
forever grateful to them for it. |

Credit Axis works with a network of over 80 lenders.
They have been in business since 2003, and work with

|
| Our Review:
Credit Axis is another great option for your line of
credit needs. Once again, this company works with all
kinds of people, regardless of credit history. They even
offer a line of credit and finance options for
businesses, making them a full service lender. The
website is a little cluttered, but basically easy to
navigate. |
|
| User Review:
Credit Axis was a lifesaver for me. I didn’t think I’d
ever get a line of credit for my new business, but they
were able to help me out. Their customer service was so
helpful through the entire process, and I love how
simple the forms were to fill out. |

Line of Credit vs. Credit Card: |
|
With some
companies, a line of credit and a credit card are
interchangeable. For example, if you have a line of
credit with a store like Old Navy, you likely have a
credit card to go with that line of credit. However, in
some cases, a card isn’t always attached to the credit
line. Case in point: Dell Preferred Accounts. You can
have a Dell line of credit to purchase computers and
electronics from Dell Corporation, but you won’t get an
actual credit card. You’ll have an account number, and
use the account just like a credit card, but without the
physical presence of a card. It might seem tricky, but
it really is quite simple. Also, there are different
types that you can get for a line of credit. For
example, you can get a line of credit from a store, or
you can get a home equity line of credit for your home
improvement needs. The way to make sure that you can
figure out which works best for you, as well as what you
need, is to be an informed consumer. This means that you
need to take the time to get the information that you
need. You also need to research companies that offer the
type of line of credit that you need, and make sure that
you choose the best company for YOUR needs. It doesn’t
matter how good a company is for someone else, because
you need to be sure that they fit you. Having a line of
credit with a company that doesn’t serve your needs is
worse than not having that line of credit at all. A
credit card can be a great option for many different
types of people who can’t find the line of credit to
suit their needs. The main difference between a line of
credit and a credit card, though, is that lines of
credit generally have a focused use, while credit cards
have more general purposes for the most part. Once
again, it comes back to being informed and prepared in
order to help you make the best decision.
